If anyone can explain this I'd be very grateful. http://www.jazzcorner.com/jazzsites.html
If you view this page in IE on a mac chances are you'll get the weird screen drawing problems that I and many others see. I have tried saving this swf as a flash 4, 5, and file. I works fine in Netscape for mac and in both browsers on Windoze.

Yep. I've experienced the same thing. Try unchecking the 'compress movie' option in your publish settings.

Thanks Pixelboy but no luck. As I mentioned, I've tried saving it as a flash 4 and 5 (which don't have the compress movie option) and have also opened and saved the swf in flash mx and flash 5.
Wondering if it's a font problem, although I used univers which is pretty common.
maybe a graphics card problem (i have a g4 with the ati pro128) AGP slot model.
any other ideas?
sorry for the late response. been out of town for a week.

i remember the first time you posted your problem.

Thanks all for your suggestions. I think I figured it out. It was the javascript that was automatically inserted by Aftershock. I used it to generate the html when I made the page a year or so ago.
I guess whatever script it added is no longer compatible with IE 5.
So the moral is: don't use aftershock.
