There are several sound effects I would like from Sound FX but they are either in mp3 format or Flashtrak.
I get an error whenever I try to import a mp3 loop or effect that I downloaded from Flashkit. Does anyone have a suggestion on what program I could use to convert it to wav or whatever mp3 format Swish would accept?
Also, I have searched for info on Flashtrak loops and can not find anything on how to use it and if it can be imported into Swish.
There were several posts for this but no replies.
Please help!
Thanks -

Try this mp3 to wav converter: http://www.mp3towave.com
it's easy and straight forward cos after you've installed it on your system, you can just right click on any mp3 that you want to convert. Hope this will help

MP3 Error
This is the error I get when importing an mp3
Error reading file Flash Player only supports 11025hz and 44100hz. You will need to change sampling rate in a sound editor.
I tried to import: http://www.flashkit.com/soundfx/Cart...-360/index.php
Would you see if it works for you? If it does, there is a problem on my end only.
I get this with all the mp3s I've tried to import.

That's because you are importing irregular compression values.
With flash format (all swf material)
you need to set the samopling frequency rate to
11.025
22,050
44,100
These are the only frequencies that swf format will allow.

Thanks. I'm getting these mp3's from this site. How do I change the format? Will the programs mentioned in the other posts, let me do it?
