Please help im desperate!

that i made to show my mother the benefits of using swish (its not my site, i just transformed her html into swish). However, one thing i cant seem to figure out for the life of me is how, once everything is in place and done moving around, that i can have effects happen to text when i mouse over them...for example, i want to have the mouse roll over one of the links and have it "blur" when rolled over...and when i click on the same link i would like to replace the white text on the right with different content! PLease help im pulling my hair out@!@!!

Try making the text a sprite and using tell target actions along with the sprite. If you don't see what i'm getting at, just say and I'll explain in more detail.

well i shouldnt say that, but i just got swish today...i tried making the text a sprite, but im confused about the tell target stuff and how that works...if you dont feel like explaining, if you could point me in the direction of a good tutorial for beginners

ok lets see if i can explain this...i converted my text to a sprite, then i choose on roll over, tell target (dont know what im doing here), goto frame whatever of scene 1...well the problem im having, is that i can make a frame 80 or whatever where the text blurs and link to it...but the problem is that the natural progression of the movie executes that frame anyway...so the result would be ok, if i could exclude the blurring from the natural progression of the movie and only show it if you roll over the text...does that make sense?

Yah it does, look at the files i posted; hope they are helpful. Mainly, what you are looknig for is the rectangle in the main movie (which contains the actions), and the Sprite called "blur".

wow i cant thank you enough for your help...the movie file is exactly what i want to do only on my stuff :-) but the swish file crashes my Swish program i cant do anything with it or see it

im sort of catching on, how do you add the "goto label" part in the actions? i dont see a selection for that
