im working on this project with two balls that bounce off the square wall and off each other, and where gravity can be applied to them.....
I havn't figured out the way to make them bounce off each other realistically YET.
I do know the mehtod of doing so, but i guess i got some problems implementing the idea at flash.
my aim is to do something like that:
    http://www20.brinkster.com/ahab/flash5/phys1.html
the prob is that these is no fla. but this site also includes the tutorial of a 2d ball collision.
im not that bad at trig and physics but the way flash handles rotations and direction causes a headache.
    e-mail me at : moomoo1984@hotmail.com
I need someone to help me complete this project and not give me some ideas or hints.
    thx

    billiard thred doesnt quiet help!

iv read much of that billiard thread but i havnt found much help from it.
i just want to mention that iv already done the walls and gravity force that apply on these walls but im left with the 2 ball collision.

    thx man,
but my problem is really concerned with angles and not momentum!
i have some problems calculating the final angle of each ball after hitting each other.

the momentum of each ball is exactly what you need to know to determine the angles after collision.
