Hey,
IM trying to use the 'saved by zero' font in my flash movie. I've extracted it to c:/windows/fonts.
But no luck, i've tried a few different types but I still get the default font list in the flash UI . Im getting royally p****D off.
any ideas folks please!!!!

Did you reopen it?
Maybe you should close Flash and restart it, or even restart your computer (if you haven't done that yet). Most probably Flash is unable to get the latest fonts from OS.
Hope that helps!

you arent supposed to extract the font file to your fonts dir. extract it to somewhere else, such as your desktop. and then open your fonts directory...
once in the font dir click file > install new font. then browse to your desktop or wherever you extracted the font and wait a second for it to load the font... the name of hte font will appear in the box on top. then just select it... and click okay. and it will install. the next time you open programs such as flash, or word your new font will be ready to use.

right on the money. The font needs to be "installed" to be usable. Even though it isn't really installing the font (in the way you usually think of the process of installation). Then once you do the above, and restart your program the font(s) will be there waiting for your beckon call
