The site was designed with 1024X768
res in mind. Can people using a screen
resolution of 800X600 read the text?

    Thanks for your help,
    Brian

You don´t need to ask that as long as is doesn´t go beyond 760*420 resolution

    One more thing:

If You designed the text to 1024*768 then you should have no problems with people using 800*600 res. coz text will get bigger !! right?

You should consider people using 1280*1024 or higher res.
there is where the problem resides, not in lower resolutions.

but change your screen resolution. It is faster and there is no need for you to be waiting for such an obvious answer.

    Keep Up. !

Thanks for the help. I am using a lcd screen which does allow resolution size changes. Sometimes when I alter the resolution size on my monitor bad things happen, don't ask me why. Are these Samsung lcd screen THAT crappy?
    Anyways, thanks for your help.

P.s. The basketball images are just a display of
    Illustrator technique.
