Not really alot to make much comments on. Though maybe you can tell me what that metal looking thing was on the opening page cos for the life of me i couldn't work it out. Repost when you have more of it done and I will be happy to look again.

    Preloader and Drop Down Menu.

    shamend143,

I agree with gabriel, what is that Metal thing? I thought that you wanted us to check out like an intro or somthing but I when I click on the Intro button, I get redirected to this other page with nothing on it, except some text with red highlighting, if you want to learn how to create preloaders, I beleive there is an example in the built in examples of Swish, or you can check out

    http://www.purifiedproductions.com/tutorials/index.htm

this is a great site with a whole lot of tutorials on preloaders. As for the Drop down menu. check this site

    http://www.isninv.com/members.asp

the menu on the left is what I made using swish, if thats what you're looking for let me know I'll post the swi, but just so you know, in order to understand the menu system you should be somewhat comfortable with sprites and tell targets.

what's up with the menu buttons? i select the music to off, then push a few menu buttons, and.....sure as &^% the music comes on again. that's a fixer.

so you want to exchange cracks and so forth? have you made a database to hold them? how are people going to upload them to your site? how will they be able to surf the cracks you have on hand?

hah 60% done? You have no content.
The template looks pretty cool. Not very positive when you seem to consider it terrible...

Well I said I would be happy to look again and as promised I have. Okay at least there is more to it now but you do have a problem with your menu system. as you roll you mouse over it it changes position and scale just a fraction but this is noticable and could really do with fixing and the same occurs after you have pressed the menu buttont too so you will want to look into that yeah. At the moment I would have to say that it looks kinda chunky too. The items are too big and need down scaling a little, this will allow you more room for more information. Also what dimensions are your swf file ?? I have said in other posts the optimum dimensions for available veiwable sceen sizes ( 750 x 420 available screen size for 800 x 600 screen resolution 975 x 570 available screen size for 1024 x 768 screen resolution ) so you may want to deal with that. And finally are ya going to tell us what that metal thing is or are we just going to have to keep guessing ??

AND WHAT IS THAT METAL THING ?????????????????????

Okay lets get this straight, the menu button ... what you need to do is make a shape, a rectangle will do it depends on what shape you want your button to be. Next decide if you want the text ( in this case the word "menu" ) or the shape to be the button. Personally I like to make the outline shape the button but before you do copy the shape and resize just a little smaller enough to get several pixels around the edge where you can see the first shape. make sure that the second smaller shape is above the first shape and that the text is above that and that all three have the same X and Y values. Now select the bottom most shape and convert to button then open the button and change the on rollover shape giving it a different solid color but keeping the outline color the same and there you go you have a button with an on rollover effect that aint moving nowhere. If you need to move the whole button the easiest way of doing this is select the button the over shape and the text and group them as one move it to where you want it to be and then ungroup. If you look at my site

you will buttons made in exactly this manner and note that they are effective in their design.
