Hi all. I've been messing about with Swish and created this dummy portfolio site (as I'm not a web designer), I would just like to have anyone's comments on it. Please ignore the ad as Tripod is what I use for testing purposes. The site is 157kb with one of Cadences preloaders that I haven't customized yet, as I didn't think I'd get it to work.

Any comments/sugestions?
And a quick question:- Was the text scroller for the skills & services part of the site slow to scroll?
If it was try turning off the streaming music & the text effects in the black area.
Does it speed up now?
How can I keep the music & the text going but have the scroller moving at the correct speed?
Would the site look better in a chromeless window?
Sorry if I was waffling on a bit.
Thanks in advance

Yes it was, it was also not obvious that it was a scroller except for the fact that it was not at start position and text was half on the screen and half off.
The Clapomat music did not kick in at all on dial up bowever seemed to have no bearing on the scrollers.
Dump em or start again with them.
The mouse over is a shocker
I know this a project site so play and play hard , but rethink the scroller totally.
Cromeless/ non cromeless .... not an issue YET.

The site as a whole ran pretty slowly for me, even on cable, especially the text scrolling and side-to-side scroll of the different sections. Try bumping up the frame rate a bit.

Thank you very much guy's.
Jofta - Changed to mouseover sound effect to a more quiet wobble board type noise, my last test site used this one.
The music is streaming and sometimes doesn't start for me on a cable modem. Don't know what to do to make it work better apart from load the music into a SWF and then use load movie, if you have any thought's on this they'll be most welcome.
Not changed the scrollers yet, the text will need some kind of scroller so I'll have to have a play around with a new type when I get the time, or make it more obvious of how to scroll the text.
chase453 - I've bumped up the frame rate to 20 (I usually have it on 15 as I read on the board that it was around the default most people used). The side scroll seems to work fine for me on cable, but then again I've been staring at it for hours at a time.
Anyone have any other comments good or bad they will be most welcome to me as an amatuer web designer.
Thanks
