that translates into:
"nothing like eating slices of raw horse meat dipped into a mix of soya sauce and some really eye watering paste much like wasabi only 10 times stronger with some beverage containing beer-like alcohol percentage but with fruity flavour of calpice"
ripped the note into pieces yet?

NOW THIS IS A THREAD!
Sushi Rocks. Favourite. However it took me 6 hours of slicing vegetables last time and you need super super fresh fish.
If you want a really versatile sauce that is easy to integrate into western cooking, I like Teriyaki. You can make loads and store it in the fridge. Use it for veg or beef or whatever.
Make:
1 part soy (light)
1 part sake (and one while you're making it for yourself)
1 part mirin (sweet corn syrup, I think)
1.5 parts sugar
heat it all up until the sugar is dissolved and it is a little syrupy. If it goes too far you could add a little water as an emergency measure.
Cook your meat or veg or fish and add the sauce! Easy and yummy!
If anyone has any recommendations for this recipe, tell me. I want to learn.
this is the best thread in the world.
