Thread: loadMovie( ) layer ordering

    this question might be stupid, but i was wondering how to load a movie into layer 2 of my timline... when i do it just covers the whole scene... i messed around with the levels and it still seems to cover the whole screen...

    When you use loadMovie you are dealing with levels. When you are in Flash you are dealing with layers. It's not the same thing.

    When you load an SWF into level two it will load with a clear background on top of anything in levels 0 or 1. You cannot insert it below anything in lower levels.
