I got swift 3D a few days ago and I've been experimenting with it. It has quite a few limitations, but it seems an all around decent 3D solution for Flash.

One thing that does stick in my craw, though, is the inability to read the materials that you apply in 3D studio max and export as 3DS. I sure would like to get some texture on those objects. Any solutions to this problem are appreciated.

Importing eps files made in CorelDraw 9 are no problem, but if they're saved in ai swift can't read them.

By the way, Corel now has a swf filter that exports CorelDraw files. It even exports the shadows (as bitmaps). This makes simple 3D, like extrusions and bevels, quite nicely.
