I got really bored and so I decided to set a simple but monotonous puzzle for myself. I swear I have seen one like it before so I decided to do my own. Here is the puzzle...
There is a greenhouse. It has a regular octagon for a base of the main section. Each side measures 1.08 metres. The main section is also 2.32 metres high. For the roof the greenhouse has an octagon-based pyramid (with the same octagon as the base for the main section) with slant height of 1.94 metres. Find the total volume of the greenhouse to 2 decimal places.
If no-one gets the right answer I will post it in a few days

Each side of the octagon is 1.08 metres long as it is regular. This means all outside edges (all 8 of them) are equal (1.08 metres in length)

Hint- Equal sides therefore mean that internal angles are equal. That is as good of a clue as I am giving you... it should be very easy from there

well seen as no-one is apparantely gonna answer it the answer is 16.71metres cubed. i did two methods, both giving the same answer. However if you really wanna see this simple math then email me and ill send you the page of my working
