Thread: Fscommand save in flash mx

    when i had flash 5 i could use the fscommand save to save all my variables to a text file but now that i have mx it doesnt work can anyone tell me how to fix this or another way to make it work?

    Mx has the capability to use cookies for that now...


    I would suggest Ed Mack's Cookie tutorial... but his site is down. My best guess is it is gamegeared, since they are doing some renovations to the place. Check back there later..


    Other then that, I don't know what to say....


    I did some research on the FS command... You might want to try publishing your movie in the Flash 5 player... Something the wierdest things make Flash work. I know they didn't get rid of it, since they use it to access java... so I'm not of much help.

    are there any sites that are up that teach shared objects in flash mx. if so please tell me
