Thread: 3D character in a 2D toon. Oh the possibilities!

    Hey everyone. Still working on the bits and pieces, but I've finally gotten my character "Beppo: The Wonder Pug" modeled in glorious 3D (hey, it was tough for me!). I'm still having some skinning problems, particularly with the arms, and animation loop is a pretty rough in general... But, I thought I'd post it up for you guys to check out anyway.

    First, here's what the 2D Beppo looked like:

    No cape yet, but I'm reading up on cloth physics. I'm so psyched about all this! Just the thought of being able to create fight scenes by animating the 3D model's IK is enough to get me VERY excited.

    So, what do you guys think?

    Nice work Could you make his ears flap up and down as he jumps though, that'd look great

    I see some flares in quality on the 2nd one
