I'm new with Flash and Koolmoves. I was wondering what the scale and translate commands actually do. I've played with it, but can't seem to get it quite figured out enough to really see what it does... Can someone give me a good explanation on what it actually does, and how it can be used properly? Thanks much!

Are you talking about the Kool Moves scale command?

If you are all you have to do is select a shape hit scale and you can scale up-down, left-right, or click the corner dot to scale without degradation.

or are you talking about DHTML attribute scale?

I'm talking about the scale/translate movie command in KM.

They allow you to scale/translate selected shapes through out the movie or scale/translate all frames through out the movie. They are global commands and can be undone if I remember correctly. It is has the same effect as selecting shapes with the select for all frames arrow and dragging, but the scale/translate commands work with numerical inputs.
