Okay, I have created a standalone demo cd for a client. Using MX I have embeded a video wich was originally a .mov file, it is about 6 minutes long. My fps is 22. and the video I embeded spans 6400 frames on the timeline. The total size of the standalone is 35meg.
The problem: When the user executes the demo, Everything does fine untill they get to the video. When they click to view the video, after about 1 minute there computer gives a "you have created a illegal operation", or something like that.
The video is compressed to its limit. Any suggestions. Sorry for the long wind... I know some has encountered this problem. Please help!!!

what i can suggest you is ... dont embed quicktime movie into flash ... just use it as external link ... hope you getting me what i try to say ...

flash
library (ctrl + L)
New -> Video
Double click on video
click on import button
and just give it link to your quicktime file ... dont import really ...
so while flash want to play the movie ... it will load from HDD or whatever the path you gave ... but it wont embed in the SWF ...
hope this helps ...
