I'm losing more than my hair over this one!
I have asked a similar question in an earlier post but nothing has worked yet, so I am going to simplify it as much as possible...
Keep in mind I am trying not to use any components whatsoever.
In this line of code...
<code>
srcStream.publish("AnyName", "Live")
</code>
I would give my left one to replace "AnyName" with a variable.
I have tried numerous suggestions but nothing works.
But as soon as I remove my variable and put in "AnyName" it works!
***Here's my cry for help***
Can someone please check to see if they are able to use a variable in the .publish parameter I'm referring to. I am beginning to think this is not possible.
If this is possible, I'll post the rest of my code, and add one of you to my last will and testament for helping me solve this.
Thanks in advance

I'm a moron!
In case there are any other morons out there, here is what I was doing wrong.
Basically, I screwed up my levels. I was looking for a variable in the _root that wasn't in the _root.
I swear I spent hours on that but must have overlooked another error that kept my app from working.
I apologize to the non-morons for putting up with my last few posts. :-)
