I got some great feedback last time, and tried to follow most all of it. Just thought I'd try to throw this out there again. Much thanks in advance...Jer

that nav is a bit tricky
it's pretty cool but some of the styles are a bit clashy

i dont like how the over state of some of the buttons hides the mouse and puts a big info box in its place. If you made the info box smaller and kept the mouse, it could be very effective. i like the transitions and the navigation is well placed. good job.

Yeah, but my last site everyone said "Clean it up" "Make it more elegant, etc." So, I'm sorta screwed no matter what. I guess with the whole nav thing, I was sort of going for slightly different. I would never do it for a client, but I didn't mind it too much for a portfolio site. I lost the colors, so I figured I might as well try a little bit of trickiness with other stuff while trying to keep it clean. Thanks to all for the feedback.

Don't change a thing
I like it. the colors are good to me. I guess its just personal opinion. I can tell that you spent alot of time with this site and it shows. Really easy to navigate and read. Alot of sites forget about usablity and want too much design and colors and small ass fonts.
Keep it the way it is its perfect to me.
I also like the instructions pointing out the menu. This is good for the older generation when trying to navigate.
Like I said you took alot of time and concideration on your audience and it shows.
I like it!!!

Thanks man. I appreciate that. Everything is always a work in progress, but at least I have something up that is halfway decent(to me)for now. I'll check your thread as well...Jer

nice work but....
very nice work and it's obvious that you spent alot of time on animation. navigation is kind of cumbersom, the over states take to long in my opinion. it's a good concept but maybe speed things up a bit. it also feels a little "made for kids" as far as the colors and font is concerned. overall you have a nice site though. keep up the good work!!

infinate loop?
I noticed on your home page that it chews up my CPU all the way up to 100% and then my other programs begin to degrade. I had this problem with my menu but i did a actionscript that removed the movieclips not being used.
But your issue maybe something different. Just thought you would like to know that because the longer i stayed on your home page and the more I moved the ball menu around it degraded the performace of my PC.
Windows 2000 AMD 1700+ 654 MB RAM
This happened with internet explorer 6 and netscape 6

Cool site!
1. Make the scrolling faster
2. Cut out the text effects in the info link
3. I don't like the hide mouse.
Other than that i like the site.
