    I'm trying to figure out how to create a transparent object with plasma so that it renders it with "alpha" in the Flash movie. What I trying to create is something like the Plasma demo on the Discreet website (cubes menu).

    not gonna happen without involving Flash man.

    here is an answer I did a while back, showing how to do it in Swift3D and using Flash, and the same methods also work with Plasma.

    also, Rushvision did this tutorial, and again, the methods are totally useable within Plasma, and using Flash as well.

    transparency is not supported directly by Plasma, btw.

    I am hoping for a v2 or atleast a update. I've found many various bugs in the program after using it for about a month.
