I have imported an mpeg video into flash mx - i have made sure that the import audio box is checked and that the frame rate of the movie is the same as the frame rate of the mpeg, any ideas?

If the codec used to compress the video the first time is not on your pc, Flash won't import the sound.

If you have a program like Adobe Premiere, you can open the mpeg and output it to .mov or .avi without compressing it
