Run Time Errors
Cori,
I looked at UR site and there were a lot of "run time" errors. I noticed one was on line 50. You might want to do a debug.
Hope this helps,
Buddy

Re: Swish Made Sites
Unbelievably cool site. I'd like to put a link to it in a British music education resource I'm authoring. (It's relevant cos of the way you can superimpose different sound clips over surf sound - similar to a task that kids will be asked to do.) Is that OK? Is it always going to be at this URL?
-
tis javascript
put this in a goto url command: javascript:shake_xy(n) where n is a number
and put this in the body somewhere:
<script LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.2">
function shake_xy(n) {
if (self.moveBy) {
for (i = 10; i > 0; i--) {
for (j = n; j > 0; j--) {
self.moveBy(0,i);
self.moveBy(i,0);
self.moveBy(0,-i);
self.moveBy(-i,0);
}
}
}
}
function shake_x(n) {
if (self.moveBy) {
for (i = 10; i > 0; i--) {
for (j = n; j > 0; j--) {
self.moveBy(i,0);
self.moveBy(-i,0);
}
}
}
}
function shake_y(n) {
if (self.moveBy) {
for (i = 10; i > 0; i--) {
for (j = n; j > 0; j--) {
self.moveBy(0,i);
self.moveBy(0,-i);
}
}
}
}
//-->
</script>
i think that should do it...

Rich

Menace that page is cool
I've worked up a few swish pages. They imitate the style of the rest of the site that I've built for my school.

I have used Swish on my site
I would like to invite anyone to go look at my site. The intro although rather long is pleasing to see if you have patience and I am working on shrinking the files so to make this load time shorter any suggestions I would welcome them as I am new to this wonderous program.
my website is
http://www.business-marketing.inuk.com
sales@business-marketing.inuk.com

Nice Job!
I really like what you did on the "Teen Ministry Page".
Would you mind sharing some tips on how you got the laser
burn effect?
Thanks;

I have ADSL and it took a long time to wait for me. 56K modems may just leave thinking the screen is not coming up. A pre-loader would be nice.
Hope this helps

Appreciate the input really I am having a great time looking through these posts there is much to learn and this program is as good as its user and can easily replace Flash 4 in my opinion if we can learn enough to compliment the developers of this program what say you ???

here is a link to my page...

feedback is most welcome!

Crisp, clean and effective.
Fast load.
I would add mouseovers to each button to add images and descriptions of what we would find in each section.
This would slow down the load time but make the page more informative and fun.
I've just finished a page with mouseovers here:

Smooth message delivery.
This is an advertisement rather than a site.
(this is not a negative criticism)
Could you add some links for us to learn more before calling or writing?
What skills are taught?
Who are the instructors?
How long has the skills4U business been up and running?
Hope this helps
