Same here, downloading right now as well, using the link in the receipt. Hope this works Thanks for the creative thinking!

Hope this works
No success there! Guess I'll have to (im)patiently wait 'til they wake up on the other side of the pond...

Not an isolated problem - I am having the exact same issue (my upgraded version suddenly claimed it was a Beta and timed out). I removed everything, went back to erain using my account number, downloaded and reinstalled , and am still getting the same message. I have contacted erain but just wanted to let others know that this may be a common problem in the next few days.
Cheers,

Can verify that Flick - just reading this thread and thought I'd check my recently purchased copy - same problem. Wish I'd never read the thread - would have slept better
Hope Erain can contact everyone who has downloaded the problem version when a fix is available.

Just to add another note for folks - a complete (I thought) scrubbing of all erain entries from the registry did not help.
Cheers, (or botooms up, if this goes on too long),

Maybe we should start a new thread? mmm Or maybe we should just wait until our friends across the Atlantic wake up? Who knows - I'm frustrated and going to bed...

Well, I tried putting back the date on my computer a week, and voilá, I can run Swift 3D!!!!
Just to let you know if you are in a crisis...
It wanted me to register again, but seems to work. (The Registration thing might be a result of me installing build 171 over 168...)

Wow, great little animation. And at only 146K I'm excited to see more of this kind of work and hopefully implement my own stuff on some web sites. I wonder if it would be possible to create a 3D shooter type game using these types of reflections. Like your character would show up in the windows when you turned toward them. I've got to assume it can't be done easily, I can't think of any way to do it offhand w/o ActionScripting. Maybe a game built on a "fixed track"?
Anyway, great little scene!

I think someone should make a few more of these and enter the www.thebig3d.com contest

In the beginning the web was without shape and color, and the hype covered the darkness of the net. Then there was a Flash and life came to the web and vision became reality.

this is the .t3d for the animation;
http://www.nlc.net.au/~oceana/games/swiftvillet3d.zip
use as you please. in fact if someone was interested they could use the new extrusion/lathe animator to create some transparent raindrops. imagine a raindrop hitting the bumper of the car and dribbling off, distorting the reflection of the scene behind it.
hope it helps

this is exactly the same animation as the previous post only you don't have the car reflections in the windows accross the road, but at 69k it's a bargain. which would have been easier to do and run a lot faster if swift had an option to resolve transparency at render time rather than using flash's transparency. i think it would also be beneficial if swift could separate the moving/static reflections and shadows as well as the solids. this takes nothing away from the absolutly brilliant job they have done with this release.
