How much intrest is there in some tutorials?

I am considering doing a CD-ROM of tutorial videos to demostrate 3dfa and may do it if there is enough intrest.

    Smile Very interesting

    I'm for it!
I've been a registered user since the programs infancy
but I really have trouble understanding different functions.

Your obviously one of the more involved members of the forum
& contributed quite alot to the community.

I suugest tutorials on acheiving certain effects, database & backend scripting, & understanding 3dfa's differences in actionscript/javascript.

hope this helps, keep us informed!

    regards,
    DuB

    tutorials

great...hopefully if they start from the ground up...enjoying my retirement hobby and playing with 3dfa but this old boy is used to the step-by-step-&-repeat method of instruction which seems to be lacking in the Help sections.

I must agree with the others Bret! I too have been a hobby user since the birth of 3dfa. But as a novice with no programing background, all efforts are done with trial and error (and the help of the message board here). Since the help files of 3dfa are very minimal at best a complete tutorial cd would be great. Of course I personaly think it should be easy enough for beginers, non-programers and folks with no experience in flash to follow and underdtand. I personally think there is no learning assistant any better than just diving in and leaning byt doing. But with the builtin javescript and the ability to insert direct javascript commands wich take some research and hairpulling to understand at times a complete instructional cd would be great!

Well I don't claim it will be Complete
Let me get one done on basics of adding an element and using the timeline interface.

    3D Newbie

    Hi,

I just came across and downloaded 3D and the help section
just isn't doing it for me. Just wanted you to know, as
others have, that any tutorials would be really helpful.
It seems the more I read, the more confused I get....LOL.

    Just adding my 2 cents,
    Foxy
