    [IMG] tags in footers?!

    Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere... but why doesn't the IMG tag work in footers?

    Please do consider allowing the img tag in signatures, I had just found one I wanted to put in my signature, finally! Not to say that you guys/girls are not doing a great job, by the way!!!! (and I do like the fact that you can use an avatar now )

    I think 30 characters is a tad short as well. My title is MUCH longer than 30 characters and it doesn't seem to be unruly.

    there will definitely be images in the footers, it's just a matter of gettign round to it, the admin have been working nonstop on the upgrade for 12 hours now.
