    Is it just me or something no feel right when EVERYONE has avatars?

    I personally think we should keep it at the 1,000 level.

    I really think that avatars stay at 1000, along with titles at 500. When it was older, a person with an avatar I knew could help me and was a whiz. Now, It looks like a newbie designed the system.

    Ill spam Starkey with email from the domain noavatarsfornewbies.com

    Anyone want to buy that for me?

    FK and w-h are actually the only boards I post at where you only got an avatar at 1000, most newer forum software allows you to turn them off which I often use. I'd have to cast my vote as "who really cares" on this one. (also having one anyway it never bothered me)

    The N/A option covers that pretty well.

    I think this is a good healthy suggestion.

    To me, the avatars always helped me pick out those who were kind of the backbone of the boards...those who knew the answer to a board related question.

    I actually think the avatar/post count condition is a great idea...keeps the board from looking so cluttered.

    I've made about 400 posts outside the lounge but I've certainly made many help posts in the lounge directing people who can't be arsed to use search engines to find tutes/useful info etc! But still, I like avatars, it's often an easy way to scan a thread and decide who to ignore

    I 100% agree megatoon, avatars to those with more than 1000 posts outside of the lounge.

    I HATE these damn polls.
    Hopefully we can do away with them, they clutter up a board in a way that nothing else can.

    C'mon DP...I don't like 'em much either...but only because some people can't post without making a darn poll out of it.

    Maybe we should limit those to the Elite Club as well!

    Oh and yeah...CL posts probably shouldn't count. Now that I have my avatar, I think that is a great idea.
