wizard
hi,
i'm trying to animate a wizard waving his wand.
so far i have done most of the waving actions, next i want to make a trail of stars follow the end of the wand.
is it possible to have a flash loop of a few stars fading away, then make that clip trace the route of the wand leaving a gently fading trail behind, like a mouse trail effect but along a fixed route.
any ideas of how to quickly accieve this?

thanks in advance

I did something similar for an e-card.
If you visit my site...

go to the portfolio section, then to e-cards...it is the autumn fairy card. I have stars follow the fairy's path.
If that is what you are looking for, let me know.

i've done it by repeating the stars MC in sequence to make it appear to follow a path.

but it would have been nice to make a trail by having one MC instance follow a motion guide

I like what you've done lenin, well done. Sometimes low tech is the way to go in the beginning. Sometimes actionscripted motion can be very cpu intensive. Glad you found a solution. I think your wizard is "killer".
