soft animation

hello everyone

i am quite new in the flash business and now i need help to realize my project. i would like to creat a menu like on www.nrg.be wich looks very smooth and now i want to know if this is done by flas only or do i have to use a 3rd party tool to realize this ???

There's nothing in there I see that requires anything more than flash...

thanks for the fast reply but my problem is the following:
when i create e.g. only a circle and move it around in my flash movie it does not move that smooth allthough i have 25 frames per second in my movie properties ?? what am i doing wrong ???

try playing with the easing... you shouldn't have to have the frame rate above 15 anyways... 15 is pretty smooth...

oh and if your increasing the frame rate make sure you increase the numer of frames the animation is playing over... maybe thats why its jerking?

hmm I didn't check it out, but sometimes having lots of alpha changes, lots of movies at once, gradients, motion tweens etc. can slow down a project.. A LOT. I was redoing my site in flash, but it skipped so much I ditched the project and instead I'm making a new site.
