I use Adobe Premiere 6, to convert it to a .AVI, then I use Sorenson Squeeze to output a .swf

    Hey E!,

Is the mpeg your using muxed?

Gerebeto, if your on a Mac you won't be able to use a muxed (flattened) .mpeg without seperating the resource forks. You would have to seperate the tracks then resave with Cleaner 5, or some other program that can combine the tracks. I'm not sure what software will demux, but you can do a search for "demuxxing" or "demux".

    Hi.
If you right-click on the video and select "properties" it should tell you want format it is.

I use a program called Video Encoder for Adobe Flash to convert my mpeg files to flv (or swf). You can download a free Demo version at http://www.flash-video-soft.com/video-to-flash/.

If you just need to convert to Flash, check out this flash video player software (for Windows) which can convert MPEG/AVI/MOV into FLV, and also let you choose a flash video player skin with it, and generate the HTML code for you to embed to a webpage. If you also need to convert between different format, check out this video converter software.
