it's pretty big so it might take awhile. you could call this PS Tennis.

I just experienced the same thing you did. It wasn't in my post. My host is somewhat unreliable so I guess sometimes the image doesn't diplay. Try dragging the URL in my last post up to the address bar.

    Thanks

    hi pgb.
you know if i click your link i get a message page from your server saying nocando basically. but thens it lists a link to grab your image and, upon clicking that, it downloads it to fk-so it sorta works.

anyway, here's a goofy volley with about 40 ps techniques applied very haphazardly.

if you'd like to continue, i have one request: could we work a bit smaller; like about 65% of this?

as per your request, I scaled down the image size a bit (400x600). I liked your return, but I can't for the life of me see any elements from my picture in yours. Maybe it's cuz of all the filters. Here's my return, and in case you can't see it below, I'll also put the URL here: http://pgb.web1000.com/img/arena/3rd...atchphrase.jpg

I eagerly await your return=) and all comments and put-downs are welcome!

hi pgb. nice return-don't know wth to do with it at first glance.

    thanks for the size accomodation.

as for the previous volley; i took a "1" and made a pattern from your original-just some leaves. anyway, i kept messin with it til i created that centerpiece thing-if you look at it's lower borders i think you'll see; 4 leaf-filled 1s at varying angles. ditto for the center of the centerpiece. it's created from a typeset asterisk, playing on your serve. i did add 2 photos; a treehugger and a logger. the sky is just all photoshop-mostly render>clouds with a gradient overlay. there's really not very much filtering that went on-mostly duping, blending, distorting, etc.

Here's my fifth volley, completed in record time. I will admit it is a bit simple, but it was the best I could come up with! Featuring my goldfish Patrice. As per usual here is the url: http://pgb.web1000.com/img/arena/5th...y-winafish.jpg

here's the info: web1000.com is a free host that charges nothing and bandwidth is unlimited. The catch? Oh.. There's ALWAYS a catch..

Their servers are either extremely unreliable, or they switch them off every so often, just for kicks.

I suspect they just switch them off every so often because they make their money off of 404 errors. As long as your site is up, and you go to the right URL, you're in good shape. But type in the wrong URL, or, alternatively, go to the site while the server is down, and it f*cking rapes your computer=(

also, this is the only host I've found where they let you host stuff at their site and post it elsewhere (for instance here). Tripod, Angelfire, and Crosswinds don't let you do that.

It is kinda a pain in the ass when I go onto my homepage and instead of my site there's porn ads, but if that's how they have to pay the bills, so be it, as long as my parents don't walk in and get the wrong idea..=)

If someone can suggest a FREE host with no ads like mine, but doesn't use a similar ad-system/is more reliable, lemme know, but I haven't seen any.

That is kinda awkward... that type of stuff can (and has recently where I work) get people sacked...

I'll know next time to check your links from a computer where it doesn't matter

what can I say? I'm cheap! When it doesn't work (3-4 times a week) it usually just sends me to the web1000 home page. I haven't been booted to a porn site in the L O N G E S T time. still, bad times for those who are "sacked" as you UK people put it
