I did use the brightness/contrast, and adjusting curves in photoshop, but it didnt get much better. I also tried loading the chanel as selection and deleting the brighter parts to keep only the outline.
But either process were harming the picture too much. The best would be to ink it on paper then take another picture when the sun is out and strong... but winter is coming, so I wont be seeing any sun until april :P
I am getting very busy with university and a with the management of a club I joined. So i dont think Ill be working on anything for some months now.
Hopefully Ill be dropping by to see YOUR pictures ^^

Good Stuff! I like the one on the left more prolly cause of the way it looks on the yellow bg. Love the graphic feel.

Thanks man! Really good to see you here too. Im gonna try and make it a point to post more. And I hope you guys do the same.
Magnetos_II,
its pencil scanned into photoshop and saved as a jpeg. The original images were drawn onto regular copier paper and I use a mechanical pencil with a 0.5 lead. I scan them in at a 150 dpi resolution.
Hope that helps.
Hope to see everyone including me post more
Peece,
Mel
Amazing work melman! The first one being my favorite.
Good stuff nayades. I prefer the one on the right- The color's are awesome, it's got sort of a faded 30’s classy sort of look to it.
This one's sort of a random sketch from back at the beginning of my arrow phase... It was done on a handout durring class... so the paper is blue.
Edit: I hadn't even realized this, but Lincoln has his arm around a broomstick with crude breasts attached to it... Normally I wouldn't even bother mentioning it, but I figured the distasteful nature warranted some sort of "warning", no matter how unnecessary or ridiculous it may be.

weeeeeeee and with wonderful artwork, too!
wow.. the shading adn the detail work is incredible!!!! hehe the last one of the first set is definitely crazy!
I like the new rendition of Hellboy... great expression I'd say something irks me about the pose, but other than that, it's GREAT!
so, how's the 3d stuff goin?
I'd post some art, but it's all at school and I haven't done any homework yet... maybe I'll post some in a bit, if I finish my hw soon.
heyy looking good... btw forgot to mention I love the ragged/torn clothes, the folds, and... how the heck do you shade so smoothly without leaving any obvious painting marks? hehe it's so smooth and perfect! Lemme guess: magic, right?
Did a sketch last night that I really like, but I won't put it up any time soon, too busy w/ homework, no time to scan stuff.
