WOW I love all the work in here! I was going to post yesterday, but then the reply btn didn't work, so I gave up... gb, I love how you have all kinds of different styles!
Thanks for all the comments. I'll post the longer version of TDC sometime soon, once I finish a few more panels.
otherwise, I've got an idea in my brain for making a new type of game in flash... well, at least with new characters. so, I attached a picture of a girl I made for it. I plan on photoshopping her so that she's 3D-ish.
and I used photoshop on that strong dude picture; I used extrude and then a whole buncha lights for the background.
hope you enjoy the pic! now I gotta go finish up memorizing some stuff for school. (AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH)
oooh how cute! I'm getting a thing for cats, now, too... long story. I like it a lot!! sweeeeeeeet background, sweet cat. you just want to go pick it up and pet it. good job! ...the black spot on the side of the face minutely makes it look out of size, or something... maybe the ears are a bit on the large size... other than that, I'd say it looks great!
I'll post my Love Angel as soon as I get the wallpaper finished.
yaaaaay I finally decided to take the 5 minutes to take the picture of the Angel of Love and make a nice fast background for her, so I've attached that to this post. I'm currently working on a large desktop wallpaper with her on it. I'll let you know when I finish it (sometime soon!!) Let me know what you think! I came up with another character yesterday, and maybe I'll post a few other of my favorites up. Enjoy!
hey, sorry for the triple post *hides in corner* but I just finished my valentine's 2003 wallpaper.. AND IT ACTUALLY UPLOADED TO MY SERVER!! sorry, that's like a miracle for such a huge file... it's almost a megabyte, I believe 933 kb. http://www.tahnee.com/valentines2003.jpg
enjoy! valentine's day!
just a little image i'm using as a reference for my 3d max work....
front and side view should be right for 3d reference....
its gonna be a full model of Alexander from Hellsing...
woah freaky... kinda reminds me of Ganondorf (yoou know, from the Zelda games...) he has that Ganonish look on his face...
I've never worked too much with reference models for 3D work, but I like how you have the profile and portrait already drawn out on a grid... Can't wait to see the finished product!
nc, I don't have any idea for how much any of these pictures would go for, if that's what you mean by "rate"... I"ve never sold any characters/pictures before, so I'm not a good person to ask.
I just got myself a wacom the other day and this is my first attempt at using it, it is not the best but im happy with it for a first attempt. Alien Pic
Tell us what you think
...yay, an update on The Dog Catcher!: http://www.tahnee.com/cel24.swf
tell me how you like it and if I should end it there... also, I got the 2003 new year wallpaper to upload the other night!http://tahnee.com/happynewyear2003.jpg
yay. it's like 2 megs, so beware! it's my first wacom wallpaper.
nice one melmann, makes me wish i spent more time getting better at drawing.
anyway, about the pixel stuff:
I drew the sketch into photoshop w/ a wacom at a large size, then scaled it down to a really small size, and used the sketch as a base for the pixel part (used the pencil tool as it doesnt anti-alias).
after that i retraced it w/ colors and some shading, the original pixel stuff was just the outlines.
after that, someone wanted me to make it dance, i guess it just has enough joints and limbs to do so.
That was made in fireworks, after splitting up the image in photoshop and putting it on different layers. (Fireworks can import PSD files)
anyway, the game is going to be pretty basic i think, and just a practice with pixel art.
