last night (er should I say this morning?) I took about an hour to color her in. now it looks REALLY good. I might add some shading or blending options to her later. the japanese stuff says "WARRIOR GIRL" in case you noticed. (I outta learn japanese some day to figure out what half these anime things are talking about! lol!)
well I've been doin' anime for a long while now.. well not constantly, that's the first sketch I did in a long time... despite the time that I was drawing during class (lame substitute) lol!
I also got working on some more character sketches for The Dog Catcher (my comic-to-be) I'll let you know when I've finished page 1.. that'll probably happen over turkey vacation, lol!
aside from me... cyyeun, WOW!! really GROOVY! different style... really cool! love the background... shading goes really well with it!
argonauta, I love the little squiggly things.. only suggestion I have is: if you're trying to make the arm and ball look like they're jumping out at you, perhaps you could darken the main character (despite the hand and arm etc.) to make the arm stand out a bit.. cool though!
mel, I think you've mastered drawing females. love your style!!!
I'll try to post some cartoons if I get the chance.. actually, just go here: http://www.tahnee.com/mycreations.htm
I posted it a while back in a different thread... has lots cartoons on it.
hey mel, what you use to color your sketches? just plain photoshop and a lot of talent????????
hey, by the way, i got myself a new pc...pentium IV 1.8, 256MB RAM, 60 Gb herdisk..... i'm kinda happy....although i'm sstill dreaming with a mac...anyway...here i post a version of one of my logos....enjoy
woah looks good!
I think the "chunk" you're refferring to is the background...
groovy logo! it's.. whimsical, you could say... I like it! groovy computer! I want a G4 sometime soon...
I think mel mentioned earlier that he uses Fireworks, but I'm not sure..
BTW, i forgot to include the attachment *bangs head on biology book, the nearest thing to me* well, I've included it this time!
how long does it take to do the colored versions, too, mel? I'm curious... takes me about an hour when I work pretty hard on a pic. sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends!
Just to drift a bit off topic, but it's a minor miracle that I didn't come home today with my arms full of the Sonic Mega Collection, Resident Evil 0, Balloon Fight (e-card), and pre-orders for Metroid Prime and Fusion.
But it's OK because right now we're going off to listen to the Rez soundtrack which arrived today. From Honolulu! Aloha!
me being off topic, I have to play SFA one of these days!! I'm going to find the DVD with all the game trailers on it; I want Vexx pretty badly... zelda, too.. but if I only had the time to play games these days... I would probably change my screename to something more down the lines of nintendo, 'cuz I"m such a fan!! (hey, I've been a gamer since I was 4!)
alright, off the games, and onto the thread, people..
hey mel! 'nother cool work! Like how you did the moon.. and everything else.. aah the whole picture rocks! the guy's gloves remind me of a game that's supposed to be coming out soon (if not out already,) Vexx.
hey cool pic, xup! like how well you angled the bike... I suck at stuff like that.
