In this case I did do it for the building. But my stuff just isn't that complex, so I rarely have to resort to that.

I found some pictures of my finished A-level sculture for a unit I did on trees:

(Its big so beware 56k'ers)
The actual sculpture is about 100cm high and about 50cms wide. The background is cardboad with paper maché (sp?) to give it texture. The tree man is wire wapped in paper maché and bent into posistion, with yellow glass pebbles for eyes. And it's all painted in acrylic. Oh and the ground is actual dirt - stuck down and painted.
Took me weeks but got me top marks

That's tight! I love the texture and detail and all that jazz.
I tossed this together- as an image it's basically a failiure, but I'm going to try and animate it and I anticipate it will look nuts (i'll try and make it a loop ani)

thats some crazy sculpture Olly! looks good, though i think the back purple bit might need some variation in colour... like darker at the botto or something?
