got a 9 out of 10 for this one: the only major error: his right eye ( the left one looking at the front image) is a bit too displaced to the right ( left from our point of view). it actually was displaced, but i did it a bit too much. moving it around half a cm to the nose would have fixed it. in fact the nose should also be a little sharper.
anyway. 4 weeks for this, 6 hours a week, = 24 hours of work.
just a quicky..
finished him this morning. meow! It's all pen and ink. Dunno how long it took, I'm guessing about 5-6 hours or something, cuz time flies when inking.
hey thanks Magnetos,
I'm looking at it now, maybe they are just a tad bit too far apart... A few things went whacky when I made it, but then it turned out.
Olly K,

Nice pen work Tahnee, nose looks a bit thick but I'm liking the black around the eyes.
Wow Nice work Nayades! Is that solid clay? 'Cos if it is then that is a lot of clay! Really nice lighting on the tv face, looks like the tv is on
Fiddle, that is gonna be such a sweet entry for CS3 if you can get it done on time
I've not really done a lot of drawing yet except on this site that I found a couple of days ago, here's my profile on it: http://new.desktopcreatures.com/dood...er.asp?id=3086
Are there any other FKer's on this site?
GREAT site! Nice sketches olly.
Looking good, melmann-- I'm currently attempting to learn maya at the moment... it's quite a bit more difficult then I thought it would be...
nice work e-tahn, especially on the eyes.
Other than a few scrap works, this is all I've really put together in the last few days... I like it.
Heh, I just found this board. I figure I'll dig up some old stuff for people to take a look at. Don't want to clog up the board, so I'll post one pic and link the rest.
My sketching style is really rough, so I don't think I'd get into professional drawing without help. I'd really like to see if some of you guys can do some colorization work on these. Finally, a self-portrait:

Here's a portrait of my brother and his girlfriend, a Christmas gift, that's made out of 600 tiny roses! It was rendered in flash, which was actually surprisingly easy to program (me heart flash) , accept for a little java (proce55ing to be exact) to turn the picture into a useable string.
Hey Guys!
Numbermind, love your style! I love how intricate it is and I dig all the details and the points of view, shading, etc etc etc. bravo! your style's so cool.
btw cute self portrait.
arikb, cool dragon; it reminds me of a critter I made up not too long ago called a Slugron (half-dragon, half-slug)
OllyK, that's a sweet sketchy site! I like the doodles.
yojo, love the rose portrait! Must have taken a lot of time and patience! Kind of reminds me of ASCII art a bit. It looks really great from a distance!
Lately, I've been doing airbrushings in PS7... Actually, "lately" describes last night to a couple of minutes ago...
Hey Thomas, thx 4 the compliment!
Here's another I finished today... I wasn't nearly as into this one as I was the pink one... I tried putting on hair but he looked like a Stooge
I think I'm going back to cartoons for a while now.
