nice one mag. tanks for the c&c. the stuff under his coat is his ribs and his other hand hangin onto the wheel. it's blurry coz i woz tryin to create some movement, otherwise it just looks like he's blown the engine. no it's not for a game, just muckin around. i think if it woz on a black t-shirt the color would be acceptable or mabey it's just my monitor (lcd). everything seems to be lighter on it.
btw. i think the pose on your girl is very well done. very natural.

Awww Mr Chompys cute! where can I get one :P Thanks again e-tahn. The dress is actually pea's work. It came from his volley.
BlinkOk : I thats a rather kick ass model. It might only look dark when you give it a background. Against the black thats on there now, it looks fine.
Mag: is she concealing a knife or am i going mad?

HAHAH For the love or magnets--- priceless!
Mag, there's definitely an improvement there! Nice work!
Yeah I've always wondered about how you went aboutyour textures-- mind giving a brief one on the skin?
hmmm well I"m trying to do these cartoon characters as fast as possible, say 15 mins apiece, give or take a few minutes. Soooo I"m not really into shading them right now :P they're just rough characters, but maybe I'll go back and recreate some of them with full-on shading.
As for Ghandi... Yes, it was supposed to be a general monk at first-- I forgot that he work glasses! :P but then I decided to make him into Ghandi just.. because... the name fit and it kinda worked!
I could see it now: "one floating Ghandi, please!" "just roll on up to the printer further up, put in your dollar and it'll print itself out!"
that would be sweet. a print center for art. haha!

!
in PS 7 there is a tool called clone tool within this tool there is another tool which can apply textures infact when you select this tool you'll see a little sample window on the top right corner on the main panel
choose which texture you like or load one of your own
actually played with 2 or 3 different textures untill i got what i liked
i created a new layer and i reduced the opacity by 20% to 10 % and then i applied it on the skin
but i think its best you use brushes because built in textures and filters can make the picture look cheap, you can obtain pretty cool texture even with the PS built in brushes there are also lots of free brushes you can download for free on the web
PS brushes are used like real life paint brushes no more no less
hope this helps
