    WMV files

    I have movies to link on my flash site and I was wondering if WMV files work with mac?

    Got a sneaky feeling they don't, got a link i can try?

    You'd be better off converting them to something a bit more friendly like quicktime; the plugin is pretty standard on all platforms these days.

    Hmm, well it loads in IE, but doesn't play...most people won't have Window Media Player for Mac installed, which I supsect you'll need.
    Avi or Mov should work (Quicktime Mov would be better, it incorporates a lot of good streaming tech), or you could play the video through Flash if you have MX.

    hum... anyone knows a avi or wmv to mov. converter?

    I think QT can open avi, and if you've got QT pro you can then export as quicktime.
    Otherwise something like Premiere should do it fine (assuming you have QT installed).
