    placing "Transparent Windowless" swf ABOVE html

    Please help! I have seen Flash advertisements (particularly on mp3.com... though I can't seem to find one there now that I need help!) that float above the existing html code. I can publish a Transparent Windowless page, but when I add html to it, the text appears either below or above the animation (completely defeating the purpose of having a transparent animation if you ask me). How do I make my animation appear above the text? I'm sure it's some really simple html change, but I simply don't know it.

    Thanks!

    Try adding this

    <param name=wmode value=tranparent>

    to the html holding your swf.

    (though not a perfect solution, as only IE recognizes this parameter)

    Sorry, that's param name=wmode - [beats head with hand at being to quick for own good]

    Does this not work with IE 6?

    I changed everything like you guys said, and I'm still having the same issue. I would assume if this worked in IE4, it would work in IE6 as well??? Am I wrong? Is there something else I'm leaving out?

    AAAGGHHH!

    Thanks!
