    eps files into Swift3D - - Help!

I am not familiar with 3D modeling programs. My client is using a rare medical 3D model program to model protien structures. He wants them to spin as 3D in a rotation.
Assuming my client gives me a 3D eps file, I should be able to import the file into Swift3D and animate it, yes?
Is there any problems I should know about before promising my client I can deliver a 3D rotating movie?

i don't think swift will import a 3D eps file. the documentation says it imports eps and ai files as 2D. mabey you should ask for a sample and try it out. if it doesn't work i'd like to have a go at it in flash (if it only involves balls and lines).

it would be best if you were to request either *.dxf or *.3ds files from these people, instead of *.eps files that are 3D...
