is not a good designer.
i like it alot. doesnt seem up to WG's usual, but i like it.
alot of repeating elements like the shappe tweened boxes. as always the sounds are really nice.
anyway, nice post ace.

i feel a little let down by their latest release, it shares some of the same animations in its intro as in WG's homepage intro, then when the first screen comes up, it has the same little screen, with the usual pop in boxes. they used arrow animations similar to andrew pheonix at sum parts (not to flame rips or anything). and i think the whole site could have been laid out better, the content is split oddly and each section has a hefty preload and animations that are repeditory. i also find it odd that the whole page reloads for each sub section, maybe theyll fix it. yes it has cool animation, yes it is talented, but it could have been much more user freindly, and much more overall. good site, im being super critical as usual, =D. cant wait to see it all the way done.

It's pretty good. Smooth and fluid design. The way the menus load and boxes appear reminds me a lot of Fantasy Interfaces.

nice quick animations... but yeah the site does have some flaws...
I dont like the text layout at some points and at certain points its a bit too flashy (white flashes)...
pretty nice overall, though it could've been a bit better imo...

i just gave up when the intro started..
it took tooo long for the word "ever" to come out...
it looked like a rip from the www.allmediastudios.com intro...

hmm...
For some reason I do not care widegroup that much. They seem like they waste good material and are rather sloppy with it. They have good sound clips and idea but seem lazy with it. Just my opinion. -dm

I think you are right. I'd have to agree some parts seemed awfully similar
Oh well, guess you can't be too original these days.

the actual content of the site is the best bit, if you have $20,000,000 USD you can go on a mission to the International Space Station, pretty cool!

I like this site very much. Yeah, there is repetition from widegroup's own site, but you have to assume that the client asked for that style so I'll let that pass.
Incidently I saw a link on a weblog at the Friends of ed site about widegroup writing a chapter. I sent them a mail and it seems that there's a tutorial building the mircorp intro in a new book called most wanted flash (or something like that - can't remember off hand).

hmm...
Anybody else notice the Gone in 60 Seconds music in the site? The music that starts when Nicholas Cage gets near Elinore. Oh well.
Overall, it was okay.

Pretty nice. Intro seems very similar to widegroup's own. lol.. interesting site content too! hahaha... nice clean feeling.
Haha... the background looks fake. But it actually adds to the overall effect.
