Gimme some skin, baby!!

In the coming days we will be unleashing the first of the new FK skins. Jamble is perfecting one as we speak, eh hemm, right Jamble?

With the addition of these new skins we should give the default, classic yellow and blue, a new name. If you'd like to make any suggestions, please feel free. The ones we are currently debating are:

Rayban Classic
Sunburn Yellow
Blind Guarantee

Any other suggestions?

I suggest a MarkP skin, he seems like a very popular person and I am sure atleast half of the 383,782 population of FK wouldn't mind using a skin that has, let's say, Mark's head for the buttons; and Mark's name tiled as a background to the boards.

The creations of skins are only available to mods. Is MarkP even a member of Flash Kit?

Ohhh, yea I tried that once too, but it came to much for me. The amount of MarkP on this board was horendous a year ago.

I completely understand. The first day I was discussing FK with Jupiter (then INT Media) we clicked over to the CL and Mark P's Arse thread was at the top. I have thought of nothing but that horrific thread, since.

But still, Mark P is a humor bot, and we have to remember that.

I'm down with the "Sunburn Yellow" as a second choice we could call it... "If this were the eighties and if Flashkit were around then, and it were proven that eighties pop icon Corey Hart surfed flashkit after the streetlights came on, this site would arguably have been the inspiration behind I'm wearin' my sunglasses at night."... yeah, that's got a nice ring to it... go with the second choice.

err ... yep, nearly done

For those interested it follows the pastel / beige colour scheme on my own site fairly closely so it's nice and easy on the eyes

For the yellow skin I reckon Sunburn Yellow is the name to go with

So, does this mean we're finally going to get with the program and have a retina-straining white text on shades of grey color scheme already? I mean, come on - get with the techno/2a program!

Ooh - if mods get to make skins, can I make a 20meg mandatory intro animation?
