If you're lacking inspiration why not get away from you machine? Take a walk, look around you, sketch, photograph, play new music really really loud. Anyone who says Flash has become boring is completely missing the point - Flash is a tool, not a type of content - has anyone ever said 'drawing has become boring?'.

The fact that alot of sites replicate each other at the moment, following similar 'trendy' styles doesn't mean Flash has become boring. It's the same with everything - repetition will eventually lead to stale, soleless design.

My advice - design for yourself (unless you get paid for it - then do whatever your client asks ).
