As for Halcyon, their schedule doesn't quite jive with our agenda this week, so there will be no meet at Halcyon on Thursday. However, we are set to GO on Wednesday the 29th at Halcyon. We will have full use of the projector and plan to do a full flash exchange/exhibition. Bring .flas to share, .swfs to show off, etc. Please, voice ideas, concerns, or questions now, so we can formulate a great turnout and a productive meet for the 29th...

Next Thursday is Thanksgiving, so I gotta figure nothing is happening then, right? And the week after that, the Halcyon meeting will be on Wednesday instead of Thursday, right? I'm game no matter what, but there seems to be some confusion.

Flash and Web Exposition Tomorrow!
Tomorrow we will be gathering for chat, drink, and keyframes. For any greater-New Yorkers, come down to Halcyon in Brooklyn to boast .swfs, share .flas, teach and be taught. Our casual expo is NOT limited to flashers, so bring any cool or useful development for the web. Bring CD's or floppies or even your own laptop. We'll be wiring into a projector for display...
Halcyon is located on 227 Smith Street, Brooklyn. Take the F or G train to Bergen St. station and walk south on Smith. Halcyon is between Butler and Douglass Sts., on the east (left) side of the street. We'll be gathering around 9pm.

Hey guys! Sorry to flizzow with your schedules! But this project is all about bringing people together, not splitting people apart, and thus, we're gonna make a strategic schedule change.
The Flash and Web Expo at Halcyon will be postponed one week, to Wednesday, December 6th.
For tomorrow, we're going to join forces with another crew at Sweet & Vicious. James Widegren and some other flash superstars are in town, and so we'll take advantage.
Sweet & Vicious is at 5 Spring St., between Bowery and Elizabeth. Take B, D, F, Q to Broadway-Lafayette St.
Those of you on the FutureFlash list, expect full details later tonight.

MickMurd: no, I'm not joking.
St= z: Your opinion IS of relevance, and point taken. But nonetheless, it's not that Halcyon "sounded" pretty good, it "sounds" real good. Just a week later. And that's an extra week for you to prepare your .flas!
Furthermore, we're trying to do one solid event weekly. Tomorrow night is going to be huge! The response has been amazing, and there are several gurus in from out of town. Flexibility is an asset, and in this case, it's strategic. The more creative Web Building individuals in one room, the more successful the project. First we're all there, then we're all here. It's never good to have two full-blown events drawing from the same population on the same night...
amd: You know the rap. There should be some very interesting dogs and cats there tomorrow. As far as holding your hand as we sneak past the nun brigade...you know I'd be happy to...maybe we'll meet The Evil Mika-El Vance beforehand? What time can you be NYC side?
