    3D image rotation

Heres a question for Brett & the other more experienced users of 3dfa.

I saw a nifty use of flash at the circuitcity.com website
it mimics a java applett I've seen before called "goround"
it basically lets you see an object in 3D space, using the mouse to rotate the object to see all sides.

Is this do-able in 3dfa? I know you can do virtual tour type files, seems to a layman like me, it would be similar.
the images dont seem to be generated, rather individual photos, taken on an axis, or lazy susan type deal.

I couldnt get a direct link, but if you go to http://www.circuitcity.com & browse the printers, you'll see a button to ask to "see a 3d View" & it will load the flash animation.

any Ideas or help would be greatly appreciated, I have a neat idea for this one.

    Thanks for hearing my cheese

    Re: 3D image rotation

The image part would be easy. Just photograph the object quarter turn each time for 8 views. Put it in a Chooser element and then track mouse and change views. Not too hard. The mouse part being the hardest. Would have to think about that a while.

    True

How bout splitting the screen into 8 vertical areas & use the mouseover function provided? would putting the photos on different layers help?

I know I'm probably in left field

Brett, you helped me out previously with your moving eyes tutorial, where the eyes would watch the moving cursor....could there be any correlation there?
