    Opening .swf files

    Hi all,

I am interested in opening my own protected .swf files, after a HD crash, where I "lost" all this data not backed up (I know, I know...) Can someone please help? I need to update my own website. Help!

    Thanks very much!

    Hi,

the openswf forum is not really meant to discuss opening swf files...
There was a thread by sxdesign (if you cannot find it here, check Sx at were-here.com) describing how to add or remove protection to swf files with hex editor. You will however find that opening the unprotected swf still is a long way from recovering the fla. If you check old threads, you will find a few sites that sell tools which might help you
