currently reading The Visual Display of Quantitative Information by edward tufte. this book, and it's 2 companions, are must reads for any designer....they have blown me away.
prior to this, i finished Low Life by Luc Sante - it's a non-fictional look at what happened in the bowery and 5 points (NYC) during the 1800's. super cool stuff....
Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

I'm somebody too!
I'm reading:
SUPERMEN
Tales of the posthuman future
It's a collection of short stories and novellas involving...the future. Lot's of good SF, even though I don't usually read that genre. If you see it at the store, pick it up. It's a fun book.
My favorite book, though, is Red Randall at Midway. It's a real oldie from like the 50's. Green worn cover and that good 'old book' fragrance

How funny. I just read The Hobbit. Now I has started on The Fellowship Of The Ring. Very nice. Way cooler than the movie and long enough to keep me busy for awhile.

Hmm, funny. That's what I'm in the process of reading it now.
YOu also forgot to mention the Ainur, and the Valar (Ainur and Valor are same people/things)
To understand what the heck I'm talking about, read it yourself.
PAlexC: That's just Chuck Norris's way of saying sometimes corn needs to lay the heck down.

Oooh. I've got an OLD copy of huck finn. Old enough it doesn't even have a copyright date.

Modesitt's Ghost Trilogy. I read Ghosts of the White Nights First as the other two had to be Amazoned and aren't here yet- backlog from christmass no doubt.
Waiting for Legacies go into paperback as 5 or 6 chapters of it where included at the back Ghosts of White Nights- It looks interesting.
I just finished Modesit's Ecolatian Envoy and Enigma... Both are good.
I read Simularion ages ago. Its not very polished. Farmer Giles of Ham much better IMO and much lighter.
