    yeah... it definitely goes faster if you have a smaller 'workspace' ... but then again, if you're rendering a large block of text, you need the larger workspace...

    i know that if you change your export settings from the more advanced 'area shading' or 'mesh shading' down to 'average fill' or 'flat fill' you cut down the time somewhat, because the gradients it has to export aren't nearly as complicated...

    sorry no statistics.. I never rendered more than maybe a whole hour.. if it was taking the rendering THAT long, I figured I was doing something that makes the renderer "heavy" so I messed with the shading and dimensions untill I got a fast rendering. and I usually use complex fonts or lots of bevels so I expect the rendering to take a while.
