How to not load the loader? Relative Address(URL) not appearing at the bottom bar?

    I had a few questions:

    1. I have main page for which i use a loader. Now, each time my mainpage is loaded, it also loads the loader. I want the movie to directly start from scene1, (when the movie for main page is loaded from another movie)?

    2. Also could anybody plzz attach a file showing the best way to create a loader. I have a several of them but i don't know which one's the best of if even they work properly or not?

    3. I am using a forwarding url for my website. Meaning when the user types in this forwarding url, s/he is directed to the original link(this is to avoid the long url of my original host).

in the beginning i have an html page where it accesses the first swf file. when its about to do that, it actually shows the exact address/url of the location where the file is stored, at the bottom of the browser. How can I replace that with some other text?

Their is a preloader built in your Swish samples --You can compare it
to your loader or just copy their scene and paste it into your movie.
If you Switch links and return to the main link where your main movie is then your preloader will run briefly-----
You will also find preloader tutorials and percentage preloaders here.

    PRELOADER
Create two new scenes--name one Preloader and one Blank Scene
Rt click on the first frame of the preloader and click if frame was loaded and select Last Scene.
Add action and add a goto frame and select next scene.
Then rt click after your loading animation.
{two frames past} and select go to frame.
Then a couple of frames later rt click and add a preload content.

    PRELOADER /LOAD MOVIE
Let's assume the name of your swf is pingpong.swf.

    1. Make a basic preloader for your main movie.
    2. In the second frame of your basic preloader, put the following action:
-Load movie "pingpong.swf" into level 1
    3. In the first frame of your first scene after the preloader, put the following action:
    - Unload movie from level 1

That should work, assuming your basic preloader is OK.

i think my preloader is working fine. here is what i understand from what u have written. correct me if i am wrong.

now pingpong.swf is my MAIN PAGE. i would not want its preloader to be loaded when its accesses the second time.

well i tried what you wrote but its not working assuming that pingpong.swf is my mainpage.

If your changing back to movie on a url from another url --their is no way to avoid having the preloader display--but the second time you
display the page or after its already loaded --the preloader will only run for a very brief moment--which would be no different than if the preloader wasn't in the movie at all---I never could understand why it's such a deal with designers. If your preloader is of a good graphic design --you shouldn't have any problems with it's brief display on re--entering the movie---

Also at the forum link I sent you earlier --are some preloaders and tutorials and downloads
    tutorials. http://www.swish-tutorials.com/forum/

Here is a load movie tutorial from this forum

If its your company or product a logo isn't a bad idea in your preloader---Think of it as advertisement---
