how do you make your movie start when you open your site?

if i want to make sure the movie starts ^playing i have to add filename.swf to my URL

help needed

Embed the movie on your HTML-page. If you choose to publish with HTML under publish settings and publish you'll get an example HTML-page you can check the source how to do it.

Also if your movie isn't wery wery ligth in filesize you should make a preloader. othervise the movie playback will be jerky and of poor quality, specially on slower connetions.

If you don't know how to make one just search the movies and tutorials section of this site, even theese boards.

It also helps if your published .html .swf is named index
Websites use index as the main page if you are going to http://www.mysite.com/
it really goes to
http://www.mysite.com/index.html
but it doesnt say that in the address at the top
