    Standalone vs OCX player

    I'm just wondering if there's any 3rd party tool (SWF Studio, Flash Studio Pro, Screenweaver,...) that is using the Standalone version of Flash Player and not the ActiveX player.

    The ActiveX version is quite noticeable slower in playback and AS execution.

    I can only remember SwiffCanvas. But it was a long time ago.

    ***********'s Jugglor is the only one that I *know* is using the Flash player EXE. However, they've stated publicly that they are going to switch to use the OCX this year.

    Swiffcanvas didn't use the EXE, they used the OCX. The guy who created Swiffcanvas took off without any explanation and left his entire user base hanging. I'd stay away from that one.
