    PHP special chars

I read all the posts on this subject but still can't get it to work. I'm loading stuff out of my database with special characters (, ,..) in it.

I use urlencode() in PHP and get a result like this:

This seems to be exactly what I need, as the chracters corespond to the chart in Macromedia technote chart (http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...l_encoding.htm)

When i load this in Flash, though, the part with the special chars is ommited in the text box. If I trace it, it has a question mark in the place where the special chars should be.

I also tried unescape on the string, but that didn't change anything.

if you publish as F6, you should use utf8encode and urlencode the data
